“God’s Everlasting Mercy” (Psalm 103)

Our God is great and He is worthy of our praises!  Psalm 103, which was composed by David, is one of the most inspired Psalms.  The Psalms were songs of testimonies.  To praise God is one of our spiritual weapons to defeat the devises of the enemy.  In praise we give all reverence, all respect, all acknowledgement to our him alone. In praise, we tell God that we trust in him for all things. In this Psalm, David did not ask for anything.  The entire psalm is one which describes the loving, forgiving and merciful presence of God: God’s Everlasting … Continue reading “God’s Everlasting Mercy” (Psalm 103)

Sermon Take Away

The Whole Armor of God, Part I (Ephesians 6:10-15) Apostle Paul encouraged the Ephesian church to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. He used a very descriptive analogy of soldiers in the army of the Lord. The believer must have the knowledge of Christ to obtain power of God. The confession that Jesus Christ is his Savior puts him in position for a spiritual warfare. It is the will of Satan to attack the people of God, to destroy their very confidence of salvation in Christ. Upon acceptance of Christ as Savior, believers are … Continue reading Sermon Take Away

Sermon Message Take Away

“Respond don’t React” (Luke 18:18-27) A certain rich ruler asked Jesus, what shall he do to inherit eternal life? Jesus said to him you know the commandments: do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not to lie and to honor father and mother. These are the last six commandments of God on how to love each other. The ruler loved God, but perhaps he lacked love for others. The ruler reacted and said he had kept these commandments from his youth up. What he needed to do was to take time to think about Jesus’s reply … Continue reading Sermon Message Take Away

Sermon Message Take Away

“More Than A Conqueror” (Romans 8:35-39) The Spirit of the Lord encourages us not to let anything separate us from the love of Christ. In time of tribulations, distress, persecutions, famine, nakedness, or sword, do not let any of those things separate us from the love of Christ. Nor shall death, life, angels, principalities, power, height, depth, things present, or things to come shall separate us from his love. Satan will try all of these types of extreme troubles to discourage us about salvation. But because you choose to trust that Jesus will take you through and you still give … Continue reading Sermon Message Take Away
