What are the Ten Commandments?
The Ten Commandments is the law of God. The Ten Commandments are the only part of the Bible that God, himself, wrote with his own finger on a tables of stone, which indicated permanency. The rest of the scriptures were written by prophets as God communicated with them. (Exodus 20:1-17)
The observance of the Ten Commandments as a whole has been rejected. Instead of accepting what God has commanded, men have changed the wordings to adhere to their convenience. It is often misunderstood as the law that was done away with at the cross. However, the commandments were given that we may know how to love God and how to love each other.
